Below is a step-by-step guide to the registration process:

1. Make sure you have iOS 11 or above installed on your device.
2. Install or update the YONO SBI app from the App Store.
3. Open the app and grant all the required permissions, including location access.
4. Select the SIM card associated with your CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and proceed.
5. An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent to a pre-defined number (7718965316) for verification. Standard SMS charges may apply as per your telecom plan, so please keep that in mind. Ensure that your SIM card has an active outgoing SMS facility.
6. If you have multiple CIFs attached to the same mobile number, you will be prompted to enter your account number and date of birth in order to identify you as a unique customer.
7. If you already have online banking credentials with SBI, the app will automatically guide you to register on YONO using your existing user ID and password. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number, which you will need to enter in the app to complete the registration process. Optionally, you can set an MPIN for added security.
8. If you do not have online banking credentials with SBI, the app will guide you on how to create INB credentials using your account details and ATM card through the registration process.
9. If you select a non-RMN SIM, you will be directed to the account opening screen. If you claim that the selected SIM is already registered with the bank, you will need to visit the nearest branch with KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation for mobile number validation or update.
